NATIONAL AUTONOMOUS UNIVERSITY OF MEXICO



The National Autonomous University of Mexico was founded as the 'Real y Pontifica Universidad de México' on september 21, 1551. It is the largest and most important university both in México and Iberoamerica. Its primary purposes are to serve the country and humanity, train professionals who are useful to society, organize and carry out research (mainly about national conditions and problems), and extend as widely as possible, the benefits of culture.

NEURODEVELOPMENT RESEARCH UNIT


For 17 years the Neurodevelopment Research Unit "Augusto Fernández Guardiola" of the Institute of Neurobiology of the UNAM Juriquilla campus in Querétaro, has been dedicated to early diagnosis and timely treatment of patients with risk factors for perinatal brain damage (before, during or after of birth).


The Neurodevelopment Research Unit cares for neonates and infants from Querétaro and the rest of the country, to whom it provides early stimulation to prevent and / or reduce as much as possible the appearance of sequelae due to perinatal brain damage, such as: cerebral palsy, intellectual disability, cognitive problems and hearing, visual and / or language disorders.

MEXICAN FEDERATION OF HEALTH PROFESSIONALS FOR THE PROMOTION, PREVENTION AND ATTENTION OF CHILD DEVELOPMENT




The Mexican Federation of Health Professionals for the Promotion, Prevention and Attention of Child Development (Federación de Neurodesarrollo) was founded by professionals from the areas of health, education and the social field linked to the development of interest in research and a practice of excellence and quality in the field of child neurodevelopment, through the implementation of academic and dissemination activities in models of surveillance, promotion, prevention, and diagnostic and treatment techniques.

NATIONAL CONFEDERATION OF PEDIATRICS OF MEXICO




The National Confederation of Pediatrics of Mexico is the representative national pediatric organization with more than 14,000 confederate pediatricians, in schools of all the states of the country, grouped into 5 federations and 14 national organizations. It seeks to promote and preserve the union, share experiences and information, as well as promote the academic excellence of its members to achieve optimal health conditions in the pediatric population and its environment.
